- Candidate Bio's are included in the hard copy voting packet which will be mailed to eligible members, to arrive by January 16.

- If any Co-Op Member has a disability that impedes them from physically casting their vote by placing it in the Ballot box located on

the porch at the office, please contact HV Secretary, Blanca Smith at [email protected] no later than Wednesday January 11 so that she may include a stamped envelope with return address where your vote can be mailed. Blanca is happy to personally pick up your Ballot from you.*

- There shall be no voting by proxy.

- All candidates have been confirmed as eligible to run for a Board Member position.

- If any Co-op Member wishes to be written in as a candidate for a Board position, you may do so up until the January 26 Annual Meeting (eligibility will be confirmed at meeting prior to final vote.)

Fall 2022 The following dates are pending availability of the Coop's permanent operating documents for member review (bylaws, rules, etc).

   Nominees to accept nominations, candidate statements due by: Sunday, October, 2022

   Candidate statements published: TBA

   Election date: Ballots due November 30, 2022 

Cooperative members may nominate themselves or another member by submitting the candidate's name and position nominated for to the Elections Committee by email to [email protected] or in writing (drop off in black ballot box in MH Mail kiosk). Hard copy nomination forms are available in the office. The Elections Committee will contact candidates to submit information and candidate statement by the September 15 deadline.

There are several expectations in serving on the HVC Board:

-  Member must be in good standing

-  Be able to communicate by email; check email daily and promptly respond to fellow board members as necessary

-  Be able to review board documents distributed by email (PDF, Word & Excel docs)

-  Attend monthly meetings and special meetings as necessary
